6th-8th Grade


ONLY 30 SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE.The first 30 to register will receive the opportunity to try out. 20 players will be put on the competitive team and 10 will receive training spots, with priority given to 7th/8th graders. If your child is chosen for a training spot, you will receive a $30 refund in the price you paid for registration.


5th Grade athletes will not participate in matches, but will be able to participate in practices. As a result, the price for 5th Grade Tennis is lower, at $165. You will be charged the full $195 when signing up your 5th grade athlete, but will receive a refund of $30 for the difference. 


This Co-Ed Tennis team will compete inter-scholastically in the ADAL against other local schools. The league ranges from schools in Half Moon Bay/San Mateo and goes as far South as Palo Alto. 


Practices will be 1-2 times per week beginning in late March and meets will be 1-2 times per week beginning in early April. All events will take place between school letting out and 8pm Monday-Friday (we try to schedule as much as possible right after school lets out, but cannot always accommodate due to gym/field reservations and coach's availability). The season will run through the end of May.


Coach: It is likely Legarza will hire an independent contractor coach, that is screened by DOJ & FBI to coach this team. We welcome all feedback to better evaluate the appropriateness of their fit.

Uniform: Each Participant will be given a rental uniforms for matches. We ask this uniform is kept in good shape and returned at the end of the season. If the uniform is not returned and/or in similar condition there will be a $50 replacement and administrative fee.
