Tryouts: We will not be having tryouts this year but rather having the first practices of the season on Monday, 03/31 and Tuesday, 04/02 at Crestview Park in San Carlos. The boys practice will start at 3:45 PM and end at 4:45 PM. Only the first 30 participants will have a spot to tryout. Approx. 18-20 players will make the competitive team depending on coaches discretion. Priority will be given to 8th graders. The remaining players will receive a red shirt position and will participate in all practices. A refund of $65 will be given to all players with a red shirt spot. If there are not enough players to make a whole team, we will make a combination SCSD team comprised of boys and girls. PLEASE NOTE: The team is made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students.
LEAGUE - Players will compete inter-scholastically in the ADAL against other local schools. The league ranges from schools in Half Moon Bay/San Mateo and goes as far South as Palo Alto.

UNIFORM - Each player will get a RENTAL school uniform. If you/your student damages, loses or neglects to return the uniform, you will then be charged a $60 replacement fee.

1. I have received the information about the SCSD Medical Forms (PDF link).

a) The law requires a student athlete who may have a concussion during a practice or game to be removed from the activity for the remainder of the day.
b) Any athlete removed for this reason must receive a written note from a medical doctor trained in the management of concussion before returning to practice.
c) Before an athlete can start the season and begin practice in a sport, a concussion information sheet must be signed and returned to the school by the athlete and the parent or guardian.
